Devolverland Expo

Devolverland Expo is described as a "marketing simulator". It is an interactive convention played from a first-person perspective, provided as an alternative as almost all game conventions were cancelled following the 2020 coronavirus outbreak. Players explore the abandoned Devolverland Expo, discovering the then new and upcoming games through an interactive environment. The entire game is thus created to promote the Devolver Digital titles in addition to the regular Devolver Direct 2020 event. Players can also pick up a gun to shoot T-shirts at mannequins to dress them in a Devolver Digital outfit. Exploration is encouraged with some puzzle elements and some objectives as players are guided towards and through the various, interactive booths where trailers can be played or the games are presented in an interactive way. There are also hidden, unannounced games that can be discovered. There is a boss fight where a throwing mechanic is used to defeat it.
