Detective

Detective is a single player text adventure.

The player is summoned to the chief's office to be told that the mayor is dead, murdered, and that the case must be solved quickly to avoid bad publicity and the FBI getting involved.

Detective is a short game, some reviews say that it can be completed in less than thirty moves, and it is possible to die by entering 'rooms of instant death'. The game has fifty six locations to visit and the highest possible score is three hundred and fifty-five points.
