Desert Burner

An oppressive government rules your land, but the player leads a group of freedom fighters, who have some top secret weaponry plans. Take them through dangerous terrain to a friendly militia, aboard the super-powerful Desert Burner bike, complete with cannons and 200mph engine power. Gameplay resembles Moon Patrol in that it is viewed from the side, and the main task is to jump over and around hazards, adjusting the bike's speed as it affects the height and length of a jump. Wheelies can be done for points, but are not always beneficial. Helicopters and bombs are attacking you from above, the former can be shot but the latter must be avoided. There are two tracks of 30 screens each, the second significantly harder than the first.
