Death of the Augnob

Death of the Augnob is an absurdist atmospheric adventure game. The player controls an alien janitor on an unknown planet who goes on a quest to find the necessary equipment to defeat the "Augnob."

The player can walk, step on bugs, and interact with objects. After finding a shotgun, the interact key can be used to automatically aim and shoot enemies when they appear. After finding all the key equipment, the player can exterminate the augnob, which turns out to be some kind of large creature living inside a giant roach that the player stepped on in the beginning of the game.

Aside from the title and credits, the game has no text or dialogue and provides no explanation for any of the events that occur in the game. The soundtrack mostly consists of muted, distant music and soft atmospheric noises. In contrast, the sound effects are comically loud.
