Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers

Dark Strokes Sins of the Fathers is about a young couple set in early 19th century that will soon be married. A last minute telegram from Ethan Black’s father has him taking his beautiful fiancé Clair to meet his father. They board a steam train but are unaware they are shadowed by a masked villain. The masked villain or ‘Faceless One’ just before reaching his father’s village blows the train trestle sending it plummeting into the river below. Barely surviving the crash they begin a bizarre adventure into a village that is under siege and terrorized by the ‘Faceless Ones’.

The game style is a hidden object puzzle adventure with a balance focus on storytelling, hidden object, and puzzle elements. Hidden object scenes are traditional with word objects at the bottom. They also include some objects in the scene to be used in combination with each other to find the requested object. Both hidden object & puzzle elements help key plot event sequences or yield needed items to assist the player for puzzle solution or story progression.
