Dark Parables: Jack and the Sky Kingdom

Dark Parables: Jack and the Sky Kingdom is this 6th installment of the Dark Parables series. The once mighty kingdom in the sky is plummeting to earth in rogue fragments as they blaze a trail and auger into the ground with thunderous effect. The fragments have impacted earth in South Holland where the player is dispatched to investigate and bring order amongst the chaos that has broken out. Your first task is to seek out a fortune hunter named ‘Jack’ which hints at the classic Jack and the Beanstalk fairytale, but with some dark twists. The climb to the kingdom will require Jack’s help, but once there additional mysteries must be solved to stop this catastrophe and bring peace back to the region.

The game style in the series is similar to hidden object but replaces traditional words with fragmented objects to be found. The object(s) from the scene once assembled are added to your inventory and are used in solving other puzzle elements of the plot/story. Another feature as in the previous game are ‘cursed objects’ that provide a bonus of faster hint button recharge. These objects are scattered throughout the game and flip or morph in appearance blending with the scene theme. Movement in the game is through on screen touch points indicated by direction arrows.
