The Council Wars is an expansion pack for Dark Colony and adds 16 additional singleplayer missions (8 human, 8 alien), 2 new units, new landmarks (e.g. crashed flying saucers, Taar fortress markings, Area 51), a new rattlesnake species that can be captured, and more. The expansion only has a singleplayer mode, unlike the base game.
