About

The Famicom Disk System version of Dandy introduces a minimal story involving going on a quest to slay the titular monster Zeuon and brings the gameplay closer to Legend of Zelda and Hydlide, with many unique quirks. The game no longer has local co-op. There are now towns to visit, in which the game changes to a side view. You start the game with a bow and arrows aside from a sword. The game has a day-night system which changes the NPCs and facilities available in towns, but the way you change time of day is not by waiting for time to pass, but by saving your game which brings you back to the title screen and reloading your save. Leveling up increases your defense and attack and instantly refills your health bar, but doesn't expand the health bar. There is also no other way to expand your health bar.
