About
Cyber Chess is a digital version of the royal board game of chess. That what distinguish it from other similar games is the posibility to display the board in 3D or 2D format. The other specific thing is the colour of pieces - light grey for "white" and gold for "black".
You play the game with mouse. Simply drag your piece to the appropriate square. If you are capturing a piece then the captured piece will slide off the board into the piece box when you place your piece on top of it. It is possible to use castle and en passant moves as weel as pawn promotion. If you make an illegal move or try to move out of turn, the piece will get back to the original square. To resign, click Adjust on your own king and end the game.
Other features are digitised sound effects including real voice samples, abidance of the chess laws as laid down by the FIDE Commission on Rules of Play in November 1988, the possibility of setting up the board orientation, the possibility of saving the game, the possibility of selecting the colour of pieces or even swapping the sides, if you are losing to the computer.
