Curse of the Crescent Isle

Today is the wedding day of the princess of the Crescent Isle, and everyone is attendance. Suddenly, the evil Warlock appears from nowhere and attempts to cast a great curse on the king of Crescent Isle! ...but he misses, and instead turns everyone else into strange abominations. Change of plan: Steal them all away! Now the King himself must venture forth and save his people and his daughter.

Curse of the Crescent Isle is a retro-style side-scrolling platformer that bears more than a passing resemblance to Super Mario Bros. 2. The king can jump onto and pick up most any monster he comes across. They aren't just simple projectiles, though, as many enemy types have specific properties and can be used as tools: one kind of enemy can act as a drill, for example, while another can reverse gravity. The King will have to use their many abilities to reach the end of each stage and confront the Warlock to save his kingdom.
