Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods

The Old Gods is the fourth expansion for Crusader Kings II. It allows the player to take on the role as a Pagan or Zoroastrian ruler, with particular focus on the vikings. The expansion introduces a new start date in 867 AD when the Viking Rurik has founded the kingdom of Rus and the Great Heathen Army under the sons of Ragnar Lodbrok rampages through England. New features includes prepared invasions where the player can declare intention for attack and gather armies before the invasion, introduction of adventurers that are landless characters that can gather armies and carve out new realms for themselves as well as the gameplay feature rebels with a cause where rebels are now led by characters with their own agendas.
