About

Crazy Planets is a turn-based Artillery-type game in which the player takes control of squad of up to four gun-wielding soldiers and must defeat all enemy robots on each level. The levels take place on small, circular planets or meteors that can be navigated freely. When firing weapons the player can choose both the angle and the power of the shot.

Being a social game, the player’s avatar uses the player's name and profile photo and the other soldiers in the squad use the name and profile photo of the Facebook friends they choose. If these friends are playing the game as well, this will be reflected in their avatar stats, with increased health points and upgraded weapons.

As the player progresses through the game and gather resources, more powerful weapons can be unlocked. Each weapon has its own behaviour and special powers. Power-ups can be purchased at any point during a level and grant benefits such as health recovery, double damage, or improved accuracy.

The player has a home planet which can be customised with various decorations.

The game uses three types of currencies:

  • Coins, picked up from the surface of the planets, are used to purchase power ups and to buy decorations for your home planet.
  • Gems, picked up from defeated enemies, are used to unlock and upgrade weapons.
  • Metals, picked up from the home planets of the player's friends, are also used to unlock and upgrade weapons.
