Covenant of Solitude

Fort is a not an ordinary young boy. He has genie blood, meaning he can summon and control monsters, a skill which makes him feared by his fellow villagers. His only male friend is Legna, and both are in love with their female friend Elicia. When one day the village is ransacked by imperial forces, Fort summons monsters to protect it, but this unfortunately gets Elicia killed. He is jailed by the empire, but breaks out and is recruited by the resistance.

Covenant of Solitude is a traditional JRPG. The player navigates Fort through a fantasy world, where he interacts with NPCs and fights enemies spawning randomly. The actual battles use a turn-based battle system. Instead of recruiting heroes, the three other open slots in the party are filled by summoning monsters, of which there are four different types, each sporting different skills.
