Cosmic Fire Birds

Cosmic Fire Birds are a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

As captain of a star ship lost in deep space, you encounter a miraculous force of winged creatures known to the galaxy as the Cosmic Fire Birds.

The player controls a ship at the bottom of the screen that moves laterally and fires vertically forwards. The player battles a steady stream of alien baddies, including: swarmers, leaders, bombers, and hawks. There are 100 levels of difficulty, and the player starts with 5 ships. An extra ship is awarded at 5,000 points.
