Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim

In Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim you play as Tyrim, a young viking boy born in the small island of Borja. You were always more of a tinkerer than an adventurer, and never felt any wish to leave Borja. However, since most men on the island left for a while, including your father, you feel it is time to figure out how to leave the island, bring the men back home and discover the dangers of a new cult which is spreading all over the world.

The gameplay of Cornerstone is somewhat like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker or Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas. You go around eight islands looking for materials and tools which will allow you to travel north after your fellow islanders. The main difference is that Tyrim has to craft all his tools: weapons, shields, armor, parachutes, crates, ships etc. which can deteriorate with use. In order to craft something, Tyrim must first find the blueprints for that object somewhere in the world, and collect materials (wood, cotton, stone and ... fire) which can be found lying around mostly everywhere.

There are almost no stats to improve, but Tyrim can increase his health at a few special caves, and increase the carrying capacity of each material finding special items of fulfilling quests given by many characters.
