Congo

Congo is an action game where the player is in control of a raft that is floating down the Congo river. Taking place after a ship wreck, the player's task is to rescue surviors who are stranded along the shore as well as on islands in the river. One survivor can be picked up at a time and has to be dropped off at a safe harbour before time runs out.

There are numerous dangers to watch out for such as islands and shoals that have to be moved around. Hippos swimming upstream, white panthers running along the shoreline and crocodiles hiding in safe harbours also have to be avoided. There are also hostile natives that will appear from behind in their canoes. The game scrolls from right to left and the player can move the raft in four directions but due to the stream moving backwards is slower.
