About
In the year 2096, the "Second Aggression" of the anomaly centered in Kiev, Ukraine, took place. The "Second Aggression" destroyed most of the clans in "The Hole", a bordered epicenter of the abnormal zone covering Europe. During the "First Aggression", which occurred in 2013, a great number of people died or disappeared, and those who survived were telling unbelievable things.
For unknown reasons, all Lords (leaders inside "The Hole") perished in a recent explosion. Rodan, the last of the Lords, survived miraculously to discover finally the real cause of the anomaly and to save the humankind.
Collapse is a third-person shooter that also features melee combat. Rodan may carry three kinds of weapons at the same time (sword, gun and rifle). In addition to this, he will learn four kinds of special powers, including the ability to push enemies back with compressed air, inflict heavy damage with a power wave, create a phantom, and stop time. During the game the protagonist encounters various characters, and two of them will accompany Rodan in two of the eleven chapters.
Many combo moves can be learned while using the sword. Finding all 3 DNA items will increase the total health of Rodan. Several creatures including bosses at the end of most chapters should be killed in sequence of actions, and several parts of sequence are controlled with quick-time events (QTE).
During the game, Rodan will be called on his phone by different characters. Rodan himself can also call them. The ability to make a call or to forget to make it can affect life or death of certain characters, and branch the storyline.
