Cliché: Critical Change

Cliché - Ciritical Change is a humorous visual-novel / dating sim / skill management game: When god becomes bored he sends one of his favourite angels "Angel de Manly" (female in contrast to her name) down to earth to "get rid of all cliché". Specifically the project is to match up a tall, muscular girl called "Muki" with her dream prince, a slim and small boy - quite an uneven couple. But that obvious disproportion doesn't seem to be the only characteristic which may be a bit hard to convey...

The game has a time limit of 100 days, and on each day three actions can be performed by visiting various places in the Heaven Realm (Manly) or the Human Realm (Muki). Visiting those places will modify various properties of the playable characters: Spirit, Charm and Wisdom for Manly, and Masculinity, Femininity and Intelligence for Muki. But are also negative properties: Boredom for Manly and Stress for Muki, which will increase on most tasks - those can be reduced again by relaxing activities (which will end the turn). While the statistics are separate for both characters, they still share the same action points (i.e. it's really only 3 actions per day, independent of who uses them).

In addition to the character properties each character also has relationship points to three other ingame characters - the endings and some ingame events will depend on both the character properties and the relationship status.

New options such as improved stress reduction or mini-games (which will also influence character properties depending on the outcome) may be enabled by increasing the skills in certain areas. Every ten days some special event will occur, which may also enable new options. When finishing the game once the "Skip Mode" will become available, with double stat increase and the option to skip whole dialogues or days for better replayability.
