Chibi Maruko-chan: Quiz de Piihyara

Chibi Maruko-chan: Quiz de Piihyara is a mix between a quiz game and a platformer, based on Chibi Maruko-chan of Japanese manga and TV fame.

A single player takes on the role of Maruko, who is trying to rescue her friends captured by robots. At first, the game looks like a traditional platformer, side-scrolling from left to right. However, as Maruko jumps on enemies, avoiding traps and enemies along the way, she's also trying to answer questions about her show that appear at the top of the screen. Each question has four possible answers on screen, and Maruko must choose between one of them by picking up capsules corresponding to letters A, B, C or D. Eight correct answers clear a stage, but three incorrect answers will cost Maruko one of her four lives.
