About
Like its predecessor Chaos League, Chaos League: Sudden Death gives you control over a team of American Football players. The main twist is that your team is one of 12 fantasy-races like Darkelves or Orcs.
That this doesn't go without spilling blood shouldn't be surprising. Also there is a referee, every team can bribe, distract and now even kill him. So to get the touch down you've to carefully manage and arrange your team from the, now 110, different players available. There are 19 new team captains at your disposal as well.
To make it even more complicated on the now 8 play-fields, you have up to 300 different magic spells and attacks (each race has it's own set of course) to bring the fans on your side, damage the enemy or help your players on the field...or to kill the referee. Even though the game doesn't take itself very seriously, it still needs serious tactical decisions to win a game. To give you time to think about your moves you can always pause the game and place your orders with patience.
