Championship Manager 2006

A continuation of the classic football management simulation series, the second from the Beautiful Game Studios stable since publishers Eidos took control of the franchise development.

Players select a club from one of 26 different countries and play the manager's role, taking charge of tactics, training, signing new players, negotiating contracts, etc. The game is very statistics heavy and assumes a fairly deep knowledge of the football game, setting it apart from its more accessible competitors.

New features in this release include 3D camera perspectives on the match, a simulated world option where all competitions in all leagues are played, limited player knowledge that is only revealed through scouting, a club benefactor for a large cash injection at the game startup and general improvements across the board in data and gameplay.
