Carriers at War

Carriers at War is the second remake of the 1984 game of the same name, following the 1992 version. It is a computer wargame that simulates World War II carrier battles of the Pacific Theater.

The game contains 8 scenarios: Pearl Harbor, Wake Island, Coral Sea, Midway, Eastern Solomons, Santa Cruz, Tarawa, and Philippine Sea. Every scenario has both historic and non-historic courses of action.

The player can give orders to search the area and then decide how many carriers to send when the enemy is found and subsequently order a strike. The game runs in real-time, meaning that all sides and their units act at all times, but the game speed can be adjusted.
