Carious Weltling

This game is played on a single screen and stars a weltling as an unlikely protagonist; a dead baby bird slowly rotting away under the heat of The Badlands desert. It slowly dies, visualized through a blood bar on the right of the screen. The bar can be replenished by catching maggots that fall from the sky, which the weltling needs to catch by moving left or right. At the same time, dumplings of various sizes drop down as well, and these need to be taken out by spitting blood at them.

When the weltling runs out of blood, the game is over. By holding the left mouse button, a large beam of blood can be fired for double kills, but this drains the bar quickly. Surprise attacks appear from the left or the right of the screen through the character of Cereus Peashy. These make the weltling extremely small and cause it to spill all its blood in a single beam at once. There are also bonus power-ups that turn it into a mega muncher that needs no blood to attack. With each level, the time of day changes. Next to the normal mode, a survivor mode is available.
