About

Black Ops Mobile is the fourth Call of Duty game from Glu Mobile. Like its predecessors, it is a top-down 2D scrolling tie-in to a major series entry. It is however completely unrelated to Black Ops story-wise, sharing only its 1960s setting.

The game is set in 1967 in Vietnam. The player primarily controls Sgt. Bennett, a member of the classified MACV-SOG unit, deployed on a mission to disrupt North Vietnamese supply lines. The game consists of 15 missions, some of which allow the player to control different characters. Assignments include patrols, attacks on enemy bases, or defending a position from an attack wave. The player's rifle automatically aims at enemies and requires only the fire button to be pressed. The player can also throw grenades, which are also automatically aimed after selecting them. Grenades are limited and must be restocked by collecting ammo boxes. Sand bags and other barriers can be used to take cover by moving in close to them. Like in the main entries in the series, health regenerates automatically after a while.
