Burn the Trash!

Burn the Trash! is a shooting game played on a single screen, where the player controls a spaceship, fighting wave after wave of "trash" enemies along with the occasional boss. The "trash" shoots bullets that the player's ship must avoid, lest it be destroyed. To fight the enemies, the player's ship has a flamethrower installed, along with a beam which disintegrates bullets in its path.

The players can also instantly switch to another ship, which is armed with a dual flamethrower and a laser that destroys nearby bullets. Using both weapons at once will fire off a special attack. Using any attack causes the player's ship to heat up, and if the player fires for too long the ship will overheat and explode.

The game is on a timer, and if the time runs out, it's game over. Destroying enemies increases the timer. The game is characterized by its "messy" graphical style, as all the objects keep producing pixelated, blocky afterimages; this graphic feature can however be deactivated.
