You as Dylan Dog should find his butler Groucho imprisoned in the Castle of Illusions. Dylan armed with revolver should progress in vertical direction, moving in 8 directions and shooting or avoiding the attacks of enemies such as bats, dark monks, skeletons, ghosts, etc. Eliminating the enemies and certain items will increase your score. Each 10,000 points give you extra life.
