Blue Beard

Blue Beard is a point-and-click adventure game with platform elements. It tells the story of a pirate named Blue Beard who came to Africa to torment animals, lock them in cages and make money on them. One of the animals, a parrot, somehow escapes from the pirate and finds a young boy named Victor who is ready to defeat Blue Beard.

All actions are done using the mouse - that is, to select items, move Victor to certain points in the level or perform actions. Gameplay consists of finding and collecting items in various places, simple logic puzzles, short platform sections and voiced-over cut-scenes. Some of the locations and levels are: race on a lion, playing with the monkeys, and traveling on a pirate's ship. There is no violence in the game.

At any time, the difficulty level can be changed to one of three predefined values. There is a help menu to show hints on how to complete the stage and proceed in the game.
