Blood Warrior

Blood Warrior is a 2D versus fighting game in which you take control of one of eight fighters based on ancient Japanese mythology and participate in a fighting tournament. The game is the sequel to Shogun Warriors and more bloody and violent.

The fighters to choose from are a Kinshirō the samurai, Arashi the ninja, the enlightened Ikkyu, the female ninja Kasumi, Syogethu in his shogun armor, Shishimaru the dancer, Sanpei the turtle man, Benkei the warrior monk and Goemon the outlaw. Each fighter has their own fighting techniques witch include kick, punch and special attacks. The fights are best of three and you can play solo or against a friend.
