Birds With Guns

Birds With Guns is a PICO-8 roguelite twin-stick shooter, similar to Nuclear Throne. The evil Robofox has kidnapped all the birds in order to steal their eggs. As the sole free bird, you need to take up arms and save them!

The game features many different guns and other weapons to use, two of which can be carried at any time. Ammo for weapons is dropped by killed enemies or broken crates. Much of the game's environment can be destroyed by weapons to make paths. Once all enemies in the current section are killed the door opens to the next area.

There are 12 different playable birds to choose from, each with a different pair of starting weapons.

The game can be played in either twin-stick mode, or single stick mode where nearby enemies are automatically targeted.
