Bionic Heart 2

Bionic Heart 2 begins right after one of the possible endings in the first game. Luke, Helen and Tom have escaped to a secret colony on mars while the fugitive cyborg Tanya remains on earth where she tries to bring and end to the powerful and corrupt Nanotech corporation. Meanwhile on Mars, where Luke has assumed the identity of a prominent scientist, he finds out that there might be more to the colony than it first seems.

Bionic Heart 2 is a visual novel where the player makes choices that affect the route story, leading to different story branches and many possible endings. Several different characters are controlled during the game, the focus alternating between Mars and Earth. A new feature is 'social boss fights', where you have to select the right choices in the right order in order to persuade or subdue a threat. Failing these will often lead to death or failure in some other way, but even if one character dies the story can continue with the ones remaining.
