About

Battlestrike: Shadow of Stalingrad is a World War II-era shooter. The player takes on the role of a Soviet soldier, tasked to find and eliminate a Nazi scientist who is preparing a new super-weapon for Hitler. The eight-mission campaign takes the player to places such as the streets of wartorn Stalingrad, mansions, and factories, often assisted by AI-controlled sidekicks.

There are a number of authentic WWII-era guns to use, such as the PPSh-41 or the Tokarev SVT-40. It's also possible to stab enemies with a knife, throw frag and smoke grenades, or use mounted guns. The protagonist can lean around walls, shoot blindly from behind a wall, and shoot through certain thin barriers. Health regenerates automatically when the player stands still without being damaged.
