About
This mainly multiplayer focused expansion to Battlefield 1942 has you fighting with up to 64 fellow gamers during the least known battles of World War II, the Italian and Sicilian campaigns.
Along with the same gameplay elements of the original title, Road to Rome adds two new forces to fight as (French legionnaires and Italian forces), eight new vehicles (including the German BF-110 bombers), new handheld weapons (rifle grenade launcher, the British Sten SMG and bayonets) and six maps based on the Italian and Sicilian campaigns, including Operation Husky.
A single player mode is also included, adding improved AI and no scripting, allowing unique gameplay everytime you play.
