Badland

Badland is an action game that's similar to an endless runner game but with puzzle game elements. It's a side scrolling one-button game where the objective is to guide blobby characters known as clones from one end to the other of each level. The only interaction with the game is by tapping the screen. This causes the clones to flap their wings and move up and forward. When not tapping the clones lose speed and altitude until they hit the ground (or any obstacle that might come in their path). There are plenty of hazards that can kill the clones if the player is not careful. This includes circular saws, mines, boulders, spinning fan blades and many other lethal objects. As the game scrolls the player has to keep up with the speed as any clones that are left behind will be lost. To get past the different challenges the player has to pick up various power ups. They can make the clones larger or smaller as well as increasing or decreasing the speed. There are also those that multiplies the number of clones and those that make them bouncy or sticky.

The game's levels are divided into days where each day has four parts with ten levels each: dawn, noon, dusk and night. As the day progresses the game gets darker and more dangerous with more challenging hazards. There is also a multiplayer mode where up to four players can play locally on the same device. The multiplayer is all about survival, with no rules allowing the player to push his opponents into hazards.
