B.A.D.

B.A.D is a fixed-screen 8 levels shooter where players must repel attacks from an army led by the Martian commander Rupert (he was tired of just making those crop circles on the Earth and wanted to do something more). Each levels consists of three stages: 1) Eliminate all enemy waves, 2) Avoid/destroy various objects flying towards your ship (this stage is time-limited) and 3) Eliminate the boss. The ship is confined to the lower part of the screen and can only move left and right. Defeated enemies/objects may drop credits or power-ups that enhance the ship's defensive and offensive capabilities. While most power-ups are beneficial, one - called 'Confiscator' - can completely disarm the ship. Upgrades can also be purchased in the in-game shop using collected credits, accessible at any time without pausing the action. The game features five different weapons (cannon, phaser, blaster, annihilator and trident missiles), extensive info section and a high-score list.
