Aztaka

Aztaka is a 2D side-scrolling action-RPG, inspired by Aztec mythology. Players take on the role of Huitzilo, heir of the Sun God, who must journey through the land to find the seven ancient artifacts which will open the Path of Gods, which will bring balance and peace to the people of the land. He is accompanied in his journey by Ayohpa, a hummingbird of mysterious origins, who will aid him with magic spells.

As Huitzilo defeats his enemies, he and Ayohpa gain experience and level-up, making it possible to improve their stats and skills, both characters having a different set. Items can be also found or bought at stores for them, granting bonuses. There are also certain special items, that will grant new skills, spells and special abilities.

Certain puzzles must be solved as well, by using different types of energy (a total of four), which can be found at certain places or left after dead enemies. Containers can also be found to store found energy for later use.
