Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Aveline

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Aveline is a downloadable content for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag which came as an exclusive DLC for PlayStation platform during initial release, but later also became available as standalone.

This downloadable content is story-based and features Aveline De Grandpre as the protagonist, the same assassin protagonist from Assassin's Creed III: Liberation game which originated on PlayStation Vita platform. Once installed, this memory can be accessed directly from the main menu. The story picks up after Liberation's story conclusion, and takes place entirely on the Rhode island and consists of three memory missions in total. Aveline came to Rhode island on Connor's, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III, beckoning to locate and rescue a recruit for him. Unlike Edward Kenway, the protagonist of the base AC4 game, Aveline has a different fighting style and different weapons she possess, mainly a pair of hidden blades, a of machete, and a blowpipe with sleeping and berserk darts. She can also pick up weapons of fallen enemies, and fighting and finishing moves will vary based on the weapon she is wielding. Once she rescues Patience and kills her Templar captor, the game simply ends and returns to main menu.
