Arsenal of Democracy

Arsenal of Democracy is a game based on Hearts of Iron II developed by fans of the Hearts of Iron series. The game introduces new gameplay possibilities, and some fine tune adjustments like new technologies, new espionage system, a more detailed economy and specially different combat mechanics.

Like any game of the Hearts of Iron series, Arsenal of Democracy takes the player to the second World War period, allowing him or her to play between the years from 1936 to 1964 as the leader of any nation existent during the period. The focus of the game is not military management, but national administration, directing the player to control things like production, research, diplomacy, infrastructure and alike. There are also many historical and random events scripted, reinforcing the historical background of the game.
