Armed!

ARMED! is a simultaneous turn-based strategy game. Players control an army of sci-fi vehicles, turrets, and robots across one of five small play fields, from a top-down viewpoint. The goal is to build stationary and vehicular units, and make strategic acquisitions of resource-rich portions of the map, moving behind the enemy's front lines with the ultimate goal of destroying their headquarters. Control of the energy-rich portions of the map increase the amount of resources that a player can spend per turn on new units. Each unit can be modified through a sequence of strategic upgrades throughout the game, over 50 in all.

Ground vehicles include mobile units like walking tanks, spider-legged heavy artillery, and giant mechs. Flying vehicles include flamethrower-wielding hover tanks, flying strikers, and spry drones capable of setting a target for a massively destructive orbital strike from above. Stationary units include headquarters, laser cannons, repair stations, vehicle factories, rocket batteries, incendiary launchers, and missile silos.

ARMED! can be played as a single player game, a local custom correspondence, or online multiplayer with ratings and matchmaking. It includes a tutorial level, tile updates, and Scoreloop integrations. There is a trial version available.
