Armada F/X Racers

Armada F/X Racers is a top-down racing game set in a futuristic alien universe. Players take control of interstellar vehicles as they compete in high-speed races across exotic planets. The game ties into the Armada universe established in the Armada Dreamcast game, featuring six playable alien races each with their own unique spacecraft. The core gameplay involves racing against AI opponents on twisting tracks filled with hazards and power-ups. Players must navigate tight turns while collecting speed boosts and weapons to gain an advantage. Between races, players can upgrade their vehicles to improve speed, handling and durability. The campaign mode tasks racers with progressing through increasingly difficult circuits, facing off against boss characters at the end of each planet. Players can attack opponents with various weapons picked up during races. The game also features a "Survival" mode unlocked after completing the campaign, where players face a gauntlet of boss battles in succession.
