Archetype

Archetype is a 3D multiplayer FPS game for mobile platforms. It supports five versus five team based deathmatch over WIFI, 3G and Edge. The game features six weapons and two grenades over seven different levels. It also offers one offline training level. The game controls via two virtual sticks as well as gyroscope controls (on the iPhone 4). Firing is automatic when the cross-hairs are over an enemy player or by tapping the screen. Player can throw grenades, swap between the two weapons they carry and melee attack with weapons.

The game has an extensive menu system supporting social networking features such as buddy lists, challenging buddies to a match and viewing other player's profiles. Archetype allows players to earn experience, gain ranks and unlock medals. Players can view their stats at the end of each game as well as view their overall stats and medals which they can post to Facebook.
