Ancient Empires

Ancient Empires is a turn-based strategy game in which the player takes the role of King Galamar. His twin brother Valadorn has turned against him and is about to capture the Kingdom of Thorin. Starting from one remaining castle, allowing him to still recruit troops and earn gold, he must reclaim his lands and defeat the usurper.

The game is divided over different missions where the player each time has to build up their army by conquering castles and townhouses, which produce gold and heal troops. Possible units vary from warriors and archers to mystical creatures such as lizard men, gollums and dragons. The goal of each level differs, but is usually seeking out a character, destroying everyone, or reaching a certain area.

A skirmish mode allows players to challenge a friend in a 2-player battle.
