About
The first expansion pack to Anarchy Online, adds a new dimension (the 'Shadowlands') to the world of Rubi-Ka. This expansion contains 20 new playfields in 7 different themes, 150 new dungeons, 1500 new monsters and tens of thousands of new items. Players can play 2 new professions or extend the existing professions through the new perk specialization system.
The story reveals the past of Rubi-Ka, leading players through the different parts of the Shadowlands, an alien world of mankinds's ancestors.
With Shadowlands, Funcom introduces geographical gameplay to MMORPGS, and unlike Rubi-Ka, Shadowlands is a series of playfields that are played in a linear order.
