About
Amanda Rose: The Game of Time begins at the Rose mansion with the family patriarch Dylan Rose your father a lawyer and doctor receiving a strange phone call. Dylan packs immediately and leaves saying only that he is going to help a friend. Dylan travels to Arizona flying the Rose family private airplane. The player as Amanda Rose receives a letter and package from her father. In the letter he describes a scenario of being in a plane crash and is presumed dead. He assures Amanda not to believe this story. In the package he provides a device instructing Amanda to travel to the plane crash site. At the site Amanda must find a stone that will activate the device sweeping her back in time to the old west to find him.
The game is a different than more traditional with limited amounts of hidden object scenes. The story is followed by a stylized comic book cell narrative leading to the next chapter and/or hidden object scene for progression. Hidden objects are somewhat different as well in that you need to find object item in the scene instead of the more common text descriptions of objects in the scene. The scenes are also broken into two stages. The first stage being objects to find from pictured items below. The second stage has locked items below that require finding along with sequence order or combination of inventory items to complete the puzzle/scene.
