About
Alentejo: Tinto’s Law is an action RPG. It is loosely inspired by RTP's 1991 television series Alentejo Sem Lei and the classic mid-1960s Spaghetti Western movies. In the main storyline, Gildo, a mysterious man who just arrived in Tinto’s village, must disrupt the Tinto traffic in the Portuguese Alentejo region during the 19th century.
The game is divided into two major sections. The first is an overworld with mostly the game narrative and action challenges, and the second contains underground levels with puzzles and the game power-up items. The game narrative focuses on Gildo's arrival at Alentejo. He discovers that a local Baron (Baron Tinto) is controlling the production and distribution of the product using the recently constructed train station in the region, so Gildo devises a plan for a train robbery. Still, first, he must gather ingredients from local caves, talk to the locals and make allies in unusual places.
