Aer: Memories of Old

Aer: Memories of Old is an adventure game that focuses on exploration set in the a world full of floating islands, with a simplistic low polygon and colorful environments, following the journey of Auk. As one of the last people left with the ability to shapeshift, the player follows her spiritual pilgrimage and finds ancient temples. They learn the story of the world and its people, piecing together clues found in the temples.

The story start as the player is exploring a cave and finds a lamp that has the power to show fragments of the past. As the player goes through temples using a special lamp, they learn more on how the world came to be. After learning the existence of a great evil being, the player must find the ancient gods and get their help to stop the darkness.

The main concept of gameplay is the ability of Auk to turn to a bird and fly from island to island.
