About

In 1996 the Indy Racing League began - an oval-only championship centered around the historic Indianapolis 500 race. This game brings it to the screen. Choose between G-Force and Dallara chassis and Nissan and Oldsmobile engines and then take to one of the 8 featured tracks. You can customise the car's handling before taking your rivals on. Paul Page, Jack Arute and Tom Sneva provide the commentary, and further sound includes coaching and Crew Chief contact. You can race online or over a network. The dirt-track racing many Indy 500 racers began their careers with is also featured.
