About

Two versions of 2006 Real Soccer exists. There is for the first time a 3D version, 2006 Real Soccer 3D and then there is this one: a 2D version following in the tradition of the two previous iterations. Like the previous game an isometric view is used, similar to the early FIFA games. The game is played using the joypad to run, 5 to pass and tackle and 0 to shoot. When shooting, a meter appears, and one is supposed to hit the button when the pointer is in the middle of the meter.

Several game modes are available. In addition to the standard friendly, league and cup modes, there is a training mode and a penalty kick mode. There is also a Go For 2006 mode, where you have to qualify to the World Cup in Germany. The game totally contains 48 national teams (16 of these are unlockable) and 16 club teams. In addition to those seven all-star teams can also be unlocked. As the game uses the FIFPRO license, it contains 1000 real life players.
